Find that F.S.O.C. LLC of El Segundo, CA is the lowest priced responsible bidder for the Police Department tactical bulletproof vests; and 2. Approve a purchase order agreement with F.S.O.C. LLC totaling $99,360.30, from account 4155.31.3110.7160. 6) CONSIDERATION OF PURCHASING AND EQUIPPING POLICE PATROL VEHICLES CARRIED 5-0 to: It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1. In accordance with Municipal Code Chapter 2, Article VII, Division 2, Sec. 2-333 (i) (2), and the findings of the West Covina Finance Department/Purchasing Officer, find that the Sourcewell/National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) Master Vehicle Contract # 120716-NAF satisfies West Covina's bid process, and authorize the purchase of a total of eight (8) Ford Police SUV Interceptor vehicles per specifications, directly from Wondries Fleet Group of Alhambra (part of National Auto Fleet Group) for a total of $301,687.71, including taxes and fees, using previously appropriated federal asset forfeiture funds; 2. Authorize the purchase of vehicle mounted equipment and installation services for these new vehicles from Black & White Emergency Vehicles (the City's currently authorized public safety equipment purchase and installation vendor), totaling $149,422.33, using previously appropriated federal asset forfeiture funds; and 3. In accordance with Municipal Code Chapter 2, Article VII, Division 2, Sec. 2-333 (b), which states that bidding may be dispensed with when the commodity can be obtained from only one (1) vendor, authorize the purchase of a vehicle mounted camera system for eight (8) vehicles, per specifications, directly from WatchGuard Video of Allen, TX, for a total of $44,685, including taxes, using previously appropriated federal asset forfeiture funds. AGREEMENT FOR TRANSIT SERVICES Page 4 of 5 03/03/2020 CC Regular Meeting Minutes ACTION: MOTION BY COUNCILMAN CASTELLANOS AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN JOHNSON, CARRIED 5-0 to: approve the Third Amendment to the Agreement for transit services with MV Transportation, Inc. effective March 3, 2020 through March 2, 2021. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS None. ADJOURNMENT A motion to adjourn the Regular Meeting in memory of Deputy Corporal Andrew Gillette and Mr. David Mendoza was made by Mayor Wu, and the meeting was adjourned at 7:57 p.m., by Mayor Wu.
