DISCUSSION: On March 11, 2020, the Human Resources Commission approved the Summary of Actions for the Commission's October 9, 2019 regular meeting. The Human Resources Commission was provided a staff report, and after discussion the Commission Approved the disability retirement for a Police Officer by 4-0 ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - Three (3) minutes per speaker Please state your name and city of residence for the record when recognized by the Committee Chair. None CHANGES TO THE AGENDA None APPROVAL OF SUMMARY ACTIONS 1) HUMAN RESOURCES COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING OF AUGUST 14, 2019 SUMMARY OF ACTIONS It is recommended that the Commission approve the Summary of Actions for the Regular Meeting of August 14, 2019. Motion by Vierva seconded by _Villaloboz to Approve the Summary of Actions of the Regular Meeting of August 14, 2019. Motion carried 4-0 ACTION ITEMS TO CITY MANAGER/CITY COUNCIL 2) CONSIDERATION OF REVISION TO CLASS SPECIFICATION —CODE ENFORCEMENT MANAGER It is recommended that the Human Resources Commission approve the updated Code Enforcement Manager class specifications. Motion by Vievra seconded by Au,0mo to Approve the Revision to Class Specification —Code Enforcement Manager. Motion carried 4-0 NEW BUSINESS 3) DIRECTOR'S REPORT Eva Sahagun informed the Commissioners of the resignation of Assistant City Manager Nikole Bresciani and the departure of the Management Analyst II Pierre Demian from the Human Resources department. DIRECTOR'S REPORT -Continued Eva Sahagun informed the Commissioners layoffs in the Building and Engineering Division did take place on September 6, 2019, and mentioned that the Building functions of the department had been contracted out to WiIldan.
