Resolution - 8391• 0 RESOLUTION NO. 8391 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A TABLE OF RATES AND CHARGES FOR THE FURNISHING OF WATER. WHEREAS, the City Council has provided in West Covina Municipal Code, Section 23-253 et. seq., for the modification by resolution of the rates and charges for the furnishing of water; and WHEREAS, the City Council has provided for the filing of a TABLE OF RATES AND CHARGES in the office of the City Clerk and the City Engineer; NOW, THEREFORE, the City council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The following table of rates, compensation, charges and minimum charges are fixed and established as the rates, compensations, charges and minimum charges to be charged and collected by the City for domestic, irrigation, commercial, municipal and industrial water and water service except as modified by the City Council from time -to -time, by resolution. The fees and charges set out in this resolution do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the services for which they are imposed. SECTION 3. A copy of the preceding Table of Rates and Charges shall be maintained on file in the office of the City Clerk and the City Engineer. SECTION 4. This resolution shall be effective September 1, 1989. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and the same shall thereupon take effect and be in force. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 14th day of August , 1989.
