A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
• COVINA CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE GENERAL MANAGER
OF THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY FIRE AUTHORITY DATED
AUGUST 8, 1988, MADE PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
THE GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPTER 13, ARTICLE 2, SECTIONS
39574 THROUGH 39576.5 LEVYING THE ASSESSMENTS FOR
THE WEED AND RUBBISH ABATEMENT PROGRAM FOR 1987-88.
• WHEREAS, the General Manager of the Fire Authority's report
for the Weed and Rubbish Abatement Program throughout the City, pursuant
to Resolution No. 8167 was posted on August 3, 1988; and
WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said report, which hearing
was held on August 8, 1988, there were no objections, protests, or appeals:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the report of the General Manager of the
Fire Authority levying the assessments, plus a 25% administrative fee,
for the 1987-88 Weed and Rubbish Abatement Program be, and the same hereby
is, confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. That the General Manager of the Fire Authority
shall forthwith attach a warrant bearing the date of this order to said
report.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall file a certified copy
of this resolution and weed abatement lien report with the Los Angeles
County Auditor -Controller in accordance with Section 39579 of the Government
Code.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
