It is recommended that the City Council cancel the first City Council
meeting in July due to the 4"' of July holiday.
b) Support for Infrastructure Bond and Proposition 42 Fix Ballot
Measure
It is recommended that the City Council approve sending a letter
supporting the proposed infrastructure bond ballot measure to the League
of California Cities and State elected officials sewing West Covina.

Technology Initiative Grant as follows:

System Specification/Design)

d) Purchase of UHF Portable Radios Utilizing Grant Funds Provided by
Congresswoman Hilda Solis
It is recommended that the City Council waive the formal contract
procedure and approve the purchase of 15 XTS5000 UFIF Portable Radios
from Motorola, Inc. at a total cost of $51,547.57 including sales tax per
Los Angeles County Contract 440856.
