Accept the bid of Hondo Company in the amount of $123,900 as submitted at the bid opening on October 11, 2005, and authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer and City Clerk to execute the contract. This work will include the negotiation of change orders to allow for the optional signs to be located on North Azusa Avenue, Amar Road, and South Azusa Avenue. 2. Authorize staff to issue a change order to install solar cell powered lighting on the entrance signs at a total change order cost not to exceed $10,000. 3. Appropriate $10,000 from General Fund (110) for solar cell powered lighting installation. 5) City Treasurer's Report (receive and file) Report for the month of October 2005 6) Miscellaneous - Human Resources Department a) Petition for Formal Recognition San Bernardino Public Employees' Association (SBPEA) West Covina Public Safety Dispatchers It is recommended that the City Council approve the Petition for Recognition from the San Bernardino Public Employees Association (SBPEA) to represent the West Covina Public Safety Dispatchers' Association.
