A RESOLUTION OF .THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE FIRE CHIEF
DATED JULY 6, 1983, MADE PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPTER 13, ARTICLE 2,
• SECTIONS 39574 THROUGH 39576.5 LEVYING THE ASSESSMENTS
FOR THE WEED AND RUBBISH ABATEMENT PROGRAM FOR 1982-83.
WHEREAS, the Fire Chief's report for the Weed and Rubbish
ABatement Program throughout the City, pursuant to Resolutions
Nos. 6597 and 6643 was posted on July 7, 1983; and
WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said report, which hearing
was held on July 11, 1983, there were no objections., protests, or
appeals:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Fire Chief's report levying the
0 assessments, plus a 25% administrative fee, for the 1982-83 Weed
and Rubbish Abatement Program be, and the same hereby is, confirmed
and approved.
SECTION 2. That the Fire Chief shall forthwith attach a
warrant bearing the date of this order to said report.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution No. 6742 was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a regular
meeting thereof, held on the llth day of July, 1983 by the following vote
