This ordinance was introduced at the City Council meeting of August 16, 2005.
This ordinance would change the zoning of the property at 1838 E. Workman
Avenue from "Residential Agricultural" (R-A) to "Multiple -Family Residential"
(MF-20). The "MF-20" Zone allows for multiple -family housing at a maximum
density of 20 units per acre. This ordinance will become effective 30 days after
adoption, October 6, 2005. It is recommended that the City Council adopt the
following ordinance.

That multi -way stop signs be installed at the intersections of Hillside Drive
and Mt. Tricia Avenue, Hillside Drive and Rolling Hills Drive, and
Hillside Drive and Fairway Knolls Road.
Traffic Committee Recommendation:
That stop signs (RI) be installed on the southbound approaches of Fairway
Knolls Road at Hillside Drive.
That a W56 sign (double head arrow) be installed on the south side of
Hillside Drive at Fairway Knolls Road and Rolling Hills Drive.
That "watch downhill speed" sign (SW 4-1) be installed eastbound Hillside
Drive East of Fairway Knolls Road.
That "radar enforced speed limit" signs be installed along Hillside Drive
from Hollencrest Drive to Citrus Street.
That the Police Department increase speed enforcement as feasible.
That "school bus stop ahead" sign be installed on the north side of Hillside
Drive at Mt. Tricia Avenue.
That no -passing zones (double -yellow centerline) be established along
Hillside Drive from Hollencrest Drive to Citrus Street.

It is recommended that the City Council accept the 2005 G.R.E.A.T. anti -
gang education grant, and appropriate the $42,750 reimbursable award
amount as follows:
• $20,655 in 141.31.3110.5113 (instructor overtime)
• $1,600 in 141.31.3110.6050 (training, including mandatory G.R.E.A.T.
conference)
• $9,995 141.31.3110.6220 (student and curriculum supplies and
services)
• $10,500 in 141.31.3110.6270 (CEC facility costs and services)
