Resolution - 6572• RESOLUTION NO. 6572 A RESOLUTION -OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING GARBAGE AND RUBBISH COLLECTION PERMIT FEES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina, has designated within Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code that the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services be the enforcement agency for health -related standards of solid waste collection in the City of West Covina; and WHEREAS, Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code requires solid waste collectors operating in the City of West Covina to obtain a permit from the County of Los Angeles and pay accom- panying fees as required by the County and adopted by the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The fees to be paid by Solid Waste Collection Permit holders to the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services shall be as follows: Solid Waste Collection Permit • Each business Application, Fee No fee Each solid waste collection vehicle No fee Annual Operating Fee $330.00 $ 41.00 SECTION 2. This resolution 'shall become effective thirty (30) days -after its adoption. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. .The City Clerk is also directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Health Services Department of the County of Los Angeles.
