C) Casandra Wallace, Lyric London, Demytria London vs. Citv of West Covina - It is recommended that the wrongful death claim of Casandra Wallace, Lyric London and Demytria London be denied and the claimants' attorney be so notified. 3) Award of Bid a) Award of Bid for ADA Improvements at Eleven City Parks (Proiect No. PP-03203) It is recommended that the City Council accept the bid of All American Painting in the amount of $59,885 submitted at the bid opening on December 28, 2004, and authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer and City Clerk to execute the contract. b) Award of Bid for Safety Netting at Two Parks (Proiect No. YP-056703-Rl) It is recommended that the City Council accept the bid of GL Gayler Construction, Inc. in the amount of $47,675 submitted at the bid opening on December 28, 2004, and authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer and City Clerk to execute the contract. Miscellaneous — Finance Department b) 2005 Investment Policy Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the City's Investment Policy and accompanying Investment Portfolio Guidelines. Miscellaneous — Police Department C) Purchase Authorization for Grant -Funded Robotic Search and Surveillance System and Wireless Cameras It is recommended that the City Council authorize the purchase of miscellaneous electronic search and surveillance components for $57,193.89 from the Machine Lab of Monrovia using currently appropriated homeland security grant funds.
