Resolution - 6417RESOLUTION NO. 6417 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED IN FAVOR OF PARACELSUS REAL ESTATE CORPORATION. The City Council of the City of West Covina does re- solve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council.of the City of West Covina does hereby find and determine that: PARCEL 1 That portion of Lot 113 and a portion of Orange Avenue 70.00 feet wide, formerly Irwindale Avenue, of E. J. Baldwin's 4th Sub- division of Rancho La Puente, in the City of West Covina, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on map re- corded in Book 8, Page 186 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning atthe most southerly corner of Lot 113, thence North 410 15' 27" East 108.13 feet to a point; thence North 860 33' 52" East 16.16 feet to the True Point of Beginning: Thence South 530 25' 27" West 1,1.65 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave.northerly and having a --radius of 40.00 feet; thence northwesterlyalong said curve through a central angle of 770 50' 00" an arc distance of 54.34 feet; thence tangent to said curve, North 480 44' 33" West 45.44 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave. northeasterly and having a radius of 967.50 feet last mentioned curve being concentric and 32.50 feet north- easterly, measured radially, from the existing construction centerline of Cameron Avenue; thence northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 200 13' 41" an arc length of 341.57 feet to a point, a radial line from said point.bearing North 610 29' 08" East; thence along said parcel line North 610 29' 08" East 45.54 feet to the northeasterly corner of parcel 12 of State Relinquishment No. 910, per S.H.M.B. Reserving from Parcel 1 and Parcel 2 above, an easement for utility lighting and.traffic control purposes over'a five foot (5') wide strip of land located between thirty-two and one-half feet (32.50') and thirty-seven.and one-half feet (37..50') from the centerline of Cameron Avenue and within five feet (5') of the new street right -of way line returns at Orange Avenue as described in Parcels 1 & 2 above. Access from Parcels l and 2 above to Cameron Avenue is prohibited. is no longer needed for the public purposes for.which it was acquired or for any other public purpose; that the public convenience and necessity require that the same be quitclaimed to '.,Paracelsus Real Estate Corporation. SECTION 2, The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Quitclaim Deed conveying all right, title and interest of the City of West Covina in and•to said real property to Paracelsus Real Estate Corporation and cause the said Quitclaim Deed and a certified copy of this resolution to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
