Resolution - 6313RESOLUTION NO. 6313 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A STREET WHICH HAS BEEN SUPERSEDED BY RELOCATION (CAMERON AVENUE). WHEREAS, THE City of West Covina has realigned a portion of Cameron Avenue, easterly of Glendora Avenue, and WHEREAS, there are no street improvements on a portion of the old alignment of Cameron Avenue, and WHEREAS, The State of California, the adjacent property owner, has requested the vacation of the abvementioned portion of Cameron Avenue, for better utilization of his property. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 1930 to 1934, in- clusive, of the Streets and Highways Code, the City Council of the City of West Covina hereby finds and determines that the following described portion: of Cameron Avenue has been super- seded by relocation: That portion of Cameron Avenue in the City of West • Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on the map of E.J. Baldwin's Fifth Sub- division, recorded in Book 12, pages 134 and 135 of Maps on file in.the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the northerly line of Lot 224 of said E.. J. Baldwin's Fifth Subdivison, distant thereon South 890 19' 05" East, 33.57 feet from the northwest corner thereof; thence continuing along said northerly line South 890 19." 05" East, 224.50 feet to a point in a non -tangent curve, concave northerly and having a radius of 540.00 feet, a radial line of said curve through said point bears South 110 43' 32"West; thence westerly along said curve through an angle of 110 41' 24", 110.18 feet; thence tangent to said last mentioned curve North 660 35' 04" West, 53.64 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the south and having a radius of 25.00 feet"' thence westerly and southwesterly along said curve through an angle of 700 51' 46r, 30.92 feet to a point in a line parallel with and distant 25.00 feet southeasterly, measured at right angles, from the northeasterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of said Lot 224; thence along said parallel line South 420 33' 10" West, 62.19 feet to the point of • beginning. EXCEPTING therefrom that portion lying northerly of the centerline of said Cameron Avenue. • 0 ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom a 10-foot wide easement for the existing storm water drainage pipeline with- in said described property; said pipeline easement shall be 5 feet on each side of the centerline as determined by the center of said pipe. SECTION 2. That portion of existing Cameron Avenue described in Section 1 hereof is hereby summarily vacated and abandoned. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
