Resolution - 6157• • RES.OLUTION'NO. 6157 A RESOLUTION"OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF.THE CITY,OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A SPECIFIC PLAN OF DESIGN FOR CAMERON PARK AND CERTIFYING THE NEGATIVE.DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL.IMPACT THEREFOR. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follow's:: SECTION 1. The -Specific Plan for the Cameron Park is a part of.the implementation of the Environmental Quality Element of the adopted General Plan of the City of West Covina. SECTION 2. The Recreation and Park Commission and the Planning Commission have reviewed and approved said Specific Plan. SECTION.3. It has been determined that the develop- ment of the park in accordance with the Specific Plan will have no significant impact on the environment. 'SECTION 4. A public hearing.has been provided and testimony has been taken with reference to the Specific Plan and Negative Declaration' of Environmental Impact therefor. SECTION 5. The City Council hereby ,finds that the Cameron Park Specific Plan is consistent with the goals and objectives of the General Plan and adopts said Specific Plan, a copy of which is on file in the City Clerk's office and by this reference incorporated herein - SECTION 6. The City Council further finds and determines that the Negative Declaration.of Environmental Impact for the project has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the State Guidelines and is hereby approved and shall be certified as required by law. v SECTION 7. The City Clerk shall.certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED and ADOPTED this 14th day of July, 1980.
