!F A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
t CERTAIN PORTION OF FLEETWELL AVENUE.
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows: .
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby find, determine, and declare as follows:
(a) That on the 28th day of April, 1980, at a regular
meeting of said Council, Resolution No. 6105 was duly adopted by
a vote of said Council setting the time for hearing on the pro-
posed vacation of a certain.portion of Fleetwell Avenue located
within the City of West Covina:
(b) That said area proposed to be vacated is more part-
icularly described as follows:
The westerly,3.00 feet of the easterly 5.00 feet of Fleetwell Avenue,
as shown on Tract Map No. 16472, in the City of West Covina, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, said map recorded in Book 381,
Pages 14, 15 and 16 of Maps on file in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, bounded as follows: Bounded northerly
by westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 81 of said
Tract 16472; bounded southerly by the northerly line of Lot 246
of said Tract 16472.
(c) That on the 27th day of May, 1980, at a regular
Council Meeting the said City Council did hold a public hearing
to determine whether the said area above=described should be
vacated as a public street.
SECTION 2. It hereby is found, determined, and declared
by the City Council of the City of West Covina, after hearing
the evidence adduced,:that the above -described portion of Fleetwell.
Avenue within the CityYof West.Covina is not necessary for,present
or prospective public street purposes and the general welfare and
convenience of the City of West Covina require that the same be
vacated. The said portion of Fleetwell Avenue above -described
hereby is vacated as a public street.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and cause the same to be recorded with the
office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles and to file
all other necessary documents in order that this vacation become
effective.
