Resolution - 6119" RESOLUTION NO. 6119 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY (Easterly Annexation No. 236 - North.of Cameron • Avenue, West of Grand Avenue) The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION: 1. The City Council hereby initiates proceedings for the annexation to the City of West Covina of that certain parcel of property contiguous to the City of West Covina and in the uninhabited area of the County of Los Angeles, which is specifically described in Exhibit "A: attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. SECTION 2. The owner of the property proposed to be annexed is processing a pre -zoning application in the City of West Covina to permit the eventual construction of one additional home in addition to the existing home already on the property, in conformance to the General Plan for the City of West Covina and the East Hills Specific Plan. SECTION 3. The owner of the property proposed to be annexed has petitioned the City of West Covina to initiate annexation pro- ceedings pursuant to Section 35100 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. The City Clerk and staff are authorized to • cooperate with the owner of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto in the preparation of the necessary forms for submitting the proposed annexation to the Local Agency Formation Commission. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Lavagnino, recorded February 14, 1949.as Instrument No. 10 in Book 29324 Page 359, Official Records of said county; thence along the boundary line of said land, South 660 04' 25" West 74.94 feet, more or less, and South 250 34' 30" West 362.69 feet, more or less, to a point in the Southerly line of said Lot 13, distant Westerly and Northwesterly 293.69 feet, as measured along said Southerly line of Lot 13 from the most Southerly corner thereof; thence • North 340 51' 00" West along said Southerly line of said Lot 13, 144.80 feet; thence North 250 34'*30" East 404..76 feet; thence South 480 43' 24" East 154.27 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
