A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT IN FAVOR OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR UTILITY PURPOSES. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require that a Grant of Easement be executed in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes over certain City -owned property as described in the attached Exhibit "A" and by reference hereto made a part hereof. SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Grant of Easement, substantially in the form attached, in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. • APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of March , 1980. J. Baldwin's 4th Subdivision, part of Rancho La Puente, as per map recorded in Book 8, Page 186 of Maps, in the Office of the Recorder of said County; described as follows: STRIP NO. 1: A strip of land, 6 feet in width, the centerline of said strip being described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the southwesterly line of Cameron Avenue, 80 feet wide as now established, and a line parallel with and distant northwesterly 280 feet from the center- line of Sunset Avenue, 100 feet wide as now established; thence southwesterly 410 feet to a point that is distant northwesterly 230 feet measured at right angles from said centerline, said point being hereinafter referred to as Point "A"; thence south-- westerly to a point in a line that is parallel with and distant northeasterly 242.5 feet from the southwesterly line of said lot, said point being distant northwesterly on said parallel line 230 feet from said centerline. STRIP NO. 2: A strip of land, 10 feet in width, the southwesterly line of said strip being described as follows: Beginning at the above mentioned Point "A"; thence southeasterly, parallel with said southwesterly line, a distance of 12 feet.
