I. Request from Judy Lutz:
That a multi -way stop sign be installed at the intersection of California
Avenue and Bainbridge Avenue.
Traffic Committee Recommendation:
That stop signs (RI) be installed along with stop messages and stop
ahead signs (W17) on the north and southbound approaches of
California Avenue at Bainbridge Avenue based on the multiway stop
warrant for intersections adjacent to schools and for intersections on
"Safe Routes to School."
II. Request initiated by the City:
That left turn lanes be installed on Cameron Avenue at Hollenbeck
Avenue, and
That left turn lanes be installed on Hollenbeck Avenue at Cameron
Avenue.
Traffic Committee Recommendation:
That left turn lanes be installed on Cameron Avenue at Hollenbeck
Avenue.
That left turn lanes be installed on Hollenbeck Avenue at Cameron
Avenue.
That staff review and adjust proposed striping to provide on street
parking at 2135 East Cameron Avenue if safe.
That the Police Department increase speed enforcement when
feasible.
That staff apply for grant to fund the installation of left turn phasing
to existing traffic signal.

Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Environmental
Management Director to sign the county Household Hazardous Waste
Collection Program Siting Liability Agreement with Los Angeles County.
