c) On -Going West Covina Service Group Equipment Costs
Historically, the West Covina Service Group's equipment account was
included in its operating budget. For the current fiscal year, this
equipment was moved to the CIP budget. It was not approved. This
leaves the WCSG without the ability to purchase equipment that it needs
right now. This need can be easily addressed by authorizing an
appropriation from available WCSG revenue, with no burden on the
General Fund. It is recommended that the City Council authorize the
appropriation of $100,000 in 375-320-2141-7160 from available West
Covina Service Group revenue (the fund balance of Fund 375).
