B. Police Training Center Grant Application
The Police Department requests the City Council's approval to apply for the Regional
Law Enforcement Raining Center (RLETC) grant. This is a highly -competitive State
grant for up to $1.25 million, with no local match requirement. It is recommended that
the City Council authorize the Mayor, City Manager, and City staff to complete the
relevant grant application paperwork.

III COMMUNITY MEETING REGARDING PAROLE OFFICE
The City Council will attend a community meeting scheduled for 7:00 pm at the Monte
Vista Elementary School, located at 1615 W. Eldred Avenue, West Covina. The purpose
of the community meeting is to discuss the Parole Office that is located on Badillo Avenue
in West Covina.
