On February 9, 1998, the City Clerk's Office received an application for leave to
present a late claim for monetary loss amounting to $500.00.

4) Temporary Use Permits
TUP 2436-98 Calfon Construction at the SEC of Garvey and Merced for a
construction yard from 1/1/98 to 6/30/98.
TUP 2439-98 Penske Jaguar at 2016 E. Garvey Avenue South for grand opening on
3/6/and 3/7/98.
5) Miscellaneous — Planning Department
a) Contract with DKS Associates for Citrus Valley Medical Center Traffic
DKS Associates, a professional traffic engineering firm, was selected to
prepare a traffic and parking study for the proposed Citrus Valley Medical
Center maternal and child health center. The cost of this study was $13,810,
the funds for which have been placed on deposit by Citrus Valley Health
Partners. It is Council policy to approve all City contracts in excess of
$10,000. It is recommended that the City Council authorize execution of a
contract with DKS Associates for preparation of a traffic and parking study
for the Citrus Valley Medical Center maternal and child health center in the
amount of $13,810, with the payment of the costs of services to be paid
through funds placed on deposit by Citrus Valley Health Partners.

b) Approval to Serve Wine at League of Women Voters Annual Fund
Drive Reception
The League of Women Voters of the East San Gabriel Valley has submitted
a letter requesting use of the Community Room at City Hall on the evening
of April 30' from approximately 5-10 p.m. for its Annual Fund Drive
Reception. They are requesting permission to serve wine at this event. It is
recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve the serving of wine
at the Annual Fund Drive Reception being held in the Community Room on
the evening of April 30'.
Miscellaneous — Environmental Management
c) BKK Landfill Closure Plans Status Report
This is an updated report on the status of plans for BKK Landfill closure and
other related BKK matters. This is a part of the City program to keep the
community informed of the progress toward implementation of the closure
plans for the BKK Landfill. Staff recommends that the City Council receive
and file this report.
