The Council and Commission may hear updates on: the Class III Landfill Closure Plan; I certify that copies of the Co,uncil Agenda for the meeting of 1-1.9- 7/0 were poated in accordance with the 1/87 Browri Act Amendments. D d Office of the Citty Clark financial assurances forthe closure of the Class III Landfill: the off -site groundwater contamination, particularly the North Saddle Area and the area to the west of the Landfill; proposed decommissioning of confirmation ground water monitoring wells and other monitoring wells: the expansion of the landfill under the North Area Design application to the Regional Water Quality Control Board; Post Closure assurance documents for the.closed Class I Landfill, including the insurance policy provided by BKK for this purpose; Class I Post Closure permit status; Vinyl Chloride emissions assessment and Proposition 65 Notices. A All of the "step -out areas" where BKK has discussed possible expansion of their waste disposal at the Landfill; the revision of the Solid Waste Facilities Permit for the Class III Landfill and the status of the environmental review to allow the revision: I odor complaints and any enforcement actions at the Landfill: Unclassified Use Permit (UUP) Notice of Violation; Any other regulatory matter associated with the Landfill: A Steering Committee Reports - All reports to be given prior to public comments. 1. This includes the issuance of a Notice of Exemption by the CIWMB for this project. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that this report be received and filed.
