The proposed rate for 1995-96 is $21.95 per unit. It is recommended that the City Council adopt the following ordinance, as amended: ORDINANCE NO. - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO MOBILE BUSINESSES (AMENDMENT NO. 263). 7) City Treasurer's Report (receive and file) City Treasurer's Report for the month of April, 1995. 8) Award of Bids ect No. PP-95209 - Cortez Park Football and Baseball Field ting - Award of Bid The bids for Project No. PP-95209 were opened on May 2, 1995. This project will provide sports lighting for the baseball and football fields at Cortez Park. The low bid was $151,154 and was submitted by Power Distributors, Inc. of the City of Industry. It is recommended that the City Council accept the low bid from Power Distributors of City of Industry in the amount of $151,154 and authorize .the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement with same for the work to be done. 9) Miscellaneous Public Works a) Approval of Plans and Specifications for New Roof at Fire Station No. 1 - Cameron and Sunset Avenue This project consists of removing and replacing the existing worn-out roofing on a 8,200 square foot fire station located on the corner of Cameron Avenue and Sunset Avenue. Estimated cost of this project is $18,000. It is recommended that the City Council approve plans and specifications for the new roof and authorize the City Engineer to call for bids. b) Approval of Specifications for Custodial Services at City Hall, Police Department, Fire Administration, Communica- tions and Community Education Center in the Mall The specifications prepared for this contract provide for the cleaning and general custodial services at five City buildings. Disposal on the amount of franchise fee paid to the City. It is also a report on the waste collected and diverted from landfills and the suggestions from the City for automated residen- tial waste collection improvements. It is recommended that.the City Council receive and file this report. Human Services d) Citizen Participation Plan Amendment No. 1 The City's current Citizens. Participation Plan must be amended to conform to the recently approved Consolidated Plan and new requirements. It is recommended that the City Council approve the proposed Amendment No. 1 to the West Covina Citizens Participation,Plan. Waste Management Enforcement Agency e) Resolution Authorizing Enforcement Assistance Grant Application The California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) has an Enforcement Assistance Grant Fund Allocation for Local Enforcement Agencies (LEA'S). The fund allocation for the City of West Covina will be approximately $16,.415.
