It is proposed that the City Council adopt resolutions
preliminarily approving the Engineer's Report for West Covina
Citywide Lighting and Maintenance District FY 1995-1996,
declaring its intention to levy and collect assessments within
the district and setting the public hearing for May 16, 1995.
The proposed rates for next year are a continuation of the
rates established for the current year with no increases. It
is recommended that the City Council adopt the following
resolutions:
RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, PRELIMINARILY
APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE CITY ENGINEER MADE PURSUANT
TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF RESOLUTION NO. 9177
WEST COVINA LIGHTING AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT (1995-1996)
and
RESOLUTION NO. - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY. COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO ORDER CERTAIN LIGHTING FIXTURES AND
APPURTENANCES TO BE INSTALLED, MAINTAINED AND ELECTRIC
CURRENT TO BE FURNISHED FOR LIGHTING FIXTURES AND TO
ORDER CERTAIN LANDSCAPING TO BE INSTALLED AND MAINTAINED
AND TO REMOVE AND PREVENT GRAFFITI THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1995,

II. CITYWIDE SEWER STANDBY AND AVAILABILITY CHARGES - 1995-96
METHOD OF COLLECTION
The Public Hearing that is required to be held by the City
Council on the collection method for the Citywide Sewer
Standby and Availability Charges for the Fiscal Year 1995-96
is proposed for May 16, 1995. The Sewer Standby and
Availability Charges are proposed to be 'continued at $21.95
per unit for Fiscal Year 1995-96 (same rate as that for 1994-
95). It is recommended that the City Council adopt the
following Resolution:

OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO COLLECT THE ANNUAL SEWER STANDBY AND

III. WEST COVINA LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 - SETTING OF
1995-96 PROPERTY TAR RATE
Annually, the City Council sets the tax rate for Landscape
Maintenance District No. 1. Staff is recommending a nominal
tax rate for 1995-96 of $0.01 per hundred dollars of assessed
valuation (unchanged from 1994-95). This levy will raise
approximately $13,650. It is recommended that the City
Council review Engineer's report and adopt the following
resolution:

OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, SETTING THE
AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED FOR WEST COVINA
LANDSCAPE'MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 AND FIXING THE TAR
RATE FOR SAID MAINTENANCE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 1995

Each year, the City Council sets the tax rate for Landscape
Maintenance District No. 2. Staff is proposing to set the tax
rate for 1995-96 at $0.01 per hundred dollars of assessed
valuation (same rate as that for 1994-95). This levy will
raise approximately $10,175. It is recommended that the City
Council review Engineer's report and adopt the following
resolution:

It is proposed that the City Council adopt resolutions
preliminarily approving the Engineer's Report for West Covina
Landscaping Maintenance Districts 4, 6, and 7, and declare its
intention to levy and collect assessments within the districts
for FY 1995-96 and set a date of June 6, 1995 for Public
Hearings. The rates for Districts 6 & 7 are proposed to
remain the same as currently established and the rates for
District 4 are proposed for a 10% decrease. It is recommended
that the City Council adopt the following resolutions:

RESOLUTION NO. - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
