Resolution - 33At a regular meeting of the City Council
of West Covina, held on October 12th, 1938, the rollow-
• ing resolution was offered by Councilman J. K. Hedges,
and unanimously adopted, to wit:
"RESOLVED: That the City of west Covina
withdraw its accumulation of gasoline tax funds,
which funds represent the accumulation of the
one-fourth cent (Q ) gasoline -tax allocations
which have been accumulated since 1935 to date,
and left with the Department of Public tVorks
of the State of Calirornia; said funds to be'
employed, with other funds., in the re -surfacing
of Glendora Avenue inthe City of _SIest Covina,
from the southerly limit of said city, notth,
to the state highway, in the CitIT of i4,lest
Covina.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLMEM, that C. C. Toland,
City Clerk of d'est Covina, is hereby authorized to
transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to
the State Department of Public Jorks, attention
of S. V. Cortelyou, District Engineer, 809 Cali-
fornia State Building, Los Angeles, California,
requesting payment to the City of Jest Covina
of said one-fourth cent (4) accumulated gaso-
line tax fund."
