A RESOLUTION CALLING A MUNICIPAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON APRIL 12, 1938.
At the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
West Covina held on February 16, 1938, the fallowing resolution
was offered by Councilman Movider, seconded by Councilman Reeg,
and unanimously adopted.
RESOLVED, that a municipal election be held on April 12, 1938,
for the purpose of electing three members for the City Council for
long terms: that the location of the polling places and the names
of the election officers and -compensation provided them, be and
the same are hereby fixed as follows:
Polling Place ------ -----West .Covina Club House
Election Officers:
Inspector 1N--=---------- J.R. Swale
Judge �1------------- Mrs Georgia Wo-lfinger
Clerks 92---------- -- Mrs Max Goheen
Mrs Ernie Schmitt
That all of said election officers be paid the sum of
$5.00 per day, as full compensation for their services
in conducting said election.
That the polls shall be opened at 9 o'clock A.M. of said
day and be kept open until 6 o'clock P.M. thereof, when
the polls shall be closed.
