A RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON APRIL 14, 1936.
At the regular meeting of the City Council of -the City of
West Covina held on February 26, 1936, the following resolution
was offered by Councilman Mowder, seconded by Councilman Reeg
and unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that a municipal election be held on April 14, 1936,

for
the purpose of
electing two
members for the
City Council for
long
terms, a City
Clerk and a
City Treasurer;
that the location
of the polling places and the names of the election officers and
and compensation provided them, be and the same are hereby fixed
as follows:
Polling place -------------------- West Covina Club House.
Election Officers:
Inspector (1)--------------- J.R. Smale
Judge (1)----------------- Mrs Georgia Wolfinger
Clerks (2)----------------- Mrs Maggie Worley
Mrs Max Gohe-en
That all of said election officers be paid the sum of
5.00 per day, as full compensation for their services
• i4, conducting said election.
The polls shall be opened at 9 o'clock A.M. of said
day and be kept open until 6 o'clock P.M. thereof, when
the polls shall be closed.
