Appropriation of additional funds for City's share of water project
costs. It is recommended that City Council take the following
actions:
a) Authorize the transfer of $100,000.00 from the Water Fund
Contingency balance (Account No. 340-300) to City Project
WP-90118 (Account No. 340-320-3023-7600).
b) Authorize payment of $252,869.18 to Walnut Valley Water District.
5) Award of Bids
SP-92106 - Bus StoD Pads Improvements
Fourteen (14) bids were opened on Wednesday, November 20, 1991,
for this project which consists of the construction of concrete
bus stop pads improvements at various locations - Citywide. The
lowest responsible bid is $129,330.00 from E.G.N. Construction,
Inc. of Pomona. It is recommended that City Council take the following
actions:
a) Authorize the use of excess funds in the amount of $27,000.00
for four additionalbus stop pads improvements.
b) Accept the bid of E.G.N. Construction, Inc. of Pomona in the
amount of $129,330.00, as submitted at the bid opening on
Wednesday, November 20, 1991, and authorize the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute an agreement with said E.G.N. Construction,
Inc. for the work to be done.

suppliers to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to use 'Best
Management Practices' for the conservation of water. It is recommended

Los Angeles County Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension
Crime Task Force
The Los Angeles County Police Chiefs' Association has federated
together to form a joint task force to address crime in the County.
They ask that the City of West Covina and its City Council join
them in this effort. It is recommended that the City Council adopt
the following resolution:
