ALTERNATIVES
The alternative to the recommendation is to reject all bids and re -advertise. Since a
favorable bid was received, it is likely that costs would not be significantly reduced any
further. In addition, re -bidding the project would result in construction occurring during
Little League season.
RECOMMENDATIO
It is recommended that the City Council accept the bid of JMAR Corporation in the
amount of $37,700,00, as submitted at the bid opening on Tuesday, December 31,
1996, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement with said JMAR
Corporation of Inglewood, for the work to be done.
