7) AWARD OF BIDS
a) Maintenance of City-wide Medians and Ri
This contract provides for the maintenance of landscaping,
hardscaping, and sprinkler systems of City medians and areas
adjacent to freeway rights -of -way. It is recommended that
the City Council accept the bid of Creative Landscaping, Inc.
of Anaheim, in the amount of $129,540.00 annually and authorize
the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement with said
Creative landscaping, Inc., for the work to be performed.
b) Woodside Villaqe Maintenance Districts 1 and 2
This contract provides for Maintenance of Landscape, Natural
Areas, Hardscape and Sprinkler Systems, including but not
limited to Woodside Village Maintenance Districts 1 and 2.
It. is recommended that the City Council accept the bid of
Mariposa Landscapes of S. El Monte in the amount of $98,952.00
annually and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
an agreement with said Mariposa Landscapes for the work to
be performed.

The citywide curb and gutter project is for the repair of damaged
curb, gutter and driveways. The estimated total cost of the project
is $50,000. It is recommended that the City Council approve plans
and specifications for City Project WP-89102 and authorize the City
Engineer to call for bids.

1) League Annual Conference Resolutions
Voting delegates at the League of California Cities Annual Conference
will cast votes on the proposed resolutions which form the basis
of the League's legislative and work programs for the year. Staff
has forwarded .copies of these resolutions with recommendations to
the City Council. It is recommended that the City Council review
the suggested positions and authorize the City's voting delegates
to vote according to the staff recommendations. In cases of
substantial amendment, it is recommended that votes be cast consistent
with existing Council policy.
