PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL Manners, Bacon, Lewis, McFadden, Tarozzi I - MP 87148 - FUEL TANK REMOVAL PROGRAM - CHANGE ORDER The City has a contract for removal of fuel tanks at various locations to comply with State law. Two locations were found to have small amounts of contaminated soil which must be processed as soon as pos- sible. The contractor has submitted an acceptable proposal amounting to $16,500 to decontaminate the soil. It is proposed to issue a Change Order for this work. Recommendation is to authorize the City Engineer to execute a Change Order in the amount of $16,500 for decontamination of soil from Fire Station No. 3 and the City Yard. DUGGAN An employee who has sustained serious injury will soon run out of leave time. Staff is requesting the City Council to approve a thirty -day leave of absence with pay as an advance against future leave time. Recommendation is to grant Patrick N.
