ELKO Review Engineer's report. It is recommended that the City Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Agreement on behalf of the City. -3- 0 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 7) ORDINANCE FOR ADOPTION June '9, 1986 Page Four Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council waive further reading and adopt the following ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 1721 — AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING A MORATORIUM ON THE APPROVAL OF PERMITS FOR CERTAIN RESIDENTIAL TYPE USES ON SPECIFIED PROPERTIES WITHIN 2,000 FEET OF THE ORIGINAL CLASS I AND CLASS II DISPOSAL AREA AT THE BKK LANDFILL. 8) AWARD OF BIDS PURCHASE OF STAFF CARS Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council authorize the replacement purchase of six 1986 Ford. Tempos from the State of California, in the amount of $49,108.58, including tax and State processing fees. 9) MISCELLANEOUS CONFIRMATION OF DEPUTY CITY TREASURER APPOINTMENT Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 7195 - A.RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF CHARLENE C. JUNG AS DEPUTY CITY TREASURER AND PROVIDING THE COMPENSATION THEREFOR. 10) .TEMPORARY USE PERMITS The Rotary Club of West Covina was issued permit #1669- 86 for a promotional event held May 25, 1986, •at Equestrian Park, 300 South Citrus Avenue.
