CLERK TO EXECUTE A SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANS-
PORTATON FOR PROJECT NO. MG-3041(247).
b) Approve plans and specifications for City
Project TS-86104-1 and TS-86119 and authorize
the City Engineer to call for bids, subject
to the concurrence of the State of California,

FOR PRIVATE COMMUNICATIONS AND POWER LINE
Location: Citrus Street and LarkhiII Drive.
Review Engineer's report and authorize staff
to negotiate an Agreement with South Hills Country
Club and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute an Agreement with South Hills Country
Club for maintenance of private communication
and electrical lines.
f) ANNUAL WATER REPORT - INFORMATIONAL.
Location: South of Fairgrove, east of Lark Ellen.

g) SP-80003 - MERCED AVENUE WIDENING -AGREEMENT FOR
STREET AND HIGHWAY DEDICATION - WILHELMINA F.

Recommendation is that the City Council authorize
the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said Agreements
on behalf of the City.
5) TRAFFIC COMMITTEE MINUTES

6) ORDINANCE FOR ADOPTION
Review staff report. It is recommended that the City
Council waive further reading and adopt the following
ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. 1693 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA- AMENDING SECTION
15-11 OF CHAPTER 15 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO FORTUNE-TELLING AND RELATED
PRACTICES.
7) SP-80050 - MODIFICATION OF CALIFORNIA AND VINCENT
AVENUE OFF -RAMPS
Review Engineer's report. Recommendation is that
the City Council accept the bid of Steiny and Company,
Inc. of Fullerton in the amount of $77,697.00, as
submitted at the bid opening on September 17, 1985,
and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
an Agreement with said Steiny and Company, Inc. for
the work to be done.

the City Council authorize staff to pay employees
time and one-half their regular rate for
compensatory time accrued between April 15, 1985
and June 30, 1985 which has not .been taken off
by September 30, 1985, and to compensate hourly
employees for the difference between straight
time and time and one-half for overtime hours
worked in the. time period from April 15, 1985
to June 30, 1985.
