Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council award
Bid No. 85-300 for a high speed copier to the only responsive bidder,
Xerox Corporation, in the amount of $123,286.00, plus tax, and declare
as surplus the 1975 A.M. Multigraphic 4250 wet copy system.

b) GP-85106 - CIVIC CENTER FENCE IMPROVEMENTS
Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council accept
the bid of Advance Fence Company of Grand Terrace for Alternate II
in the amount $10,000 as presented at the bid opening on September
3, 1985, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Agreement
with said Advance Fence Company for the work to be done.
c) SP-83120 - WEST COVINA PARKWAY AND AZUSA AVENUE LANDSCAPING IMPROVEMENT
Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council take
the following actions:
1) Transfer $8,000 from City Project MP-80014-2 and $8,000 from
City Project MP-85401 to City Project SP-83120.
2) Accept the bid of Onicnac Custom Contracting of Gardena in the
amount of $94,080 as submitted at the bid opening on August
20, 1985, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
an Agreement with said Onicnac Custom Contracting for the work
to be done.
d) TS-86108 - REQUEST FOR SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE FOR AUDIBLE PEDESTRIAN
SIGNALS
Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council approve
waiver of competitive bidding procedures and authorize the purchase,
of audible pedestrian signals from Traconex, Inc. of Ontario, in
the amount of $9,904.50 including tax.
e) MOBILE SAFETY TOWN
Review staff report. It is recommended that the City Council take
the following actions:
1)• That the City Council authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk
to sign the "joint use" contract between the City of West Covina
and the City of Monterey Park.
2) That the City Council award the bid for this project to Serrurier
& Associates in the amount of $47,079.77. (One half of the
cost to be reimbursed to the City of West Covina by the City
of Monterey Park)
