CONSIDERATION OF POSSIBLE SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF
AND/OR FINES,UNDER UNCLASSIFIED USE PERMIT 71, REVISION 5
(Amendment) (the "UUP"). ,
Motion by Reiner, seconded by Connolly, to continue the public hearing
regarding possible suspension or revocation, and/or fines under Unclassified.
Use Permit 71, Revision 5 (Amendment) to the meeting of January 13,
1996. Motion carried 5-0.

the meeting of February 13, 1996. Motion carried 5-0.

POLICY DIRECTIVE: REVERSE VENDING MACHINES
APPLICANT: City of West Covina
LOCATION: City wide
Motion by Connolly, seconded by Melendez, to direct staff to consider
standards for vending machines and children's rides in an upcoming code
amendment.
Motion by Melendez, seconded by Reiner, to adopt findings as recommended
by staff. Motion carried 5-0.
Motion by Melendez, seconded by Reiner, to waive further reading of the
body of the resolution and adopt Resolution No. 01-96-4336, recommending
that the City Council approve an urgency ordinance as it pertains to reverse
vending machines.
COMMENTS: Approved with no comments.

Commissioner Connolly to miss February 13, 1996 meeting.
