As they are considered routine in nature, they will all be enacted in one
motion. Any member of the public who wishes to sneak on a CONSENT CALEN-

items to be discussed will be acted on separately. Please come forward to

the record. The City Council may as a result of your inquiries, refer the

Regional Quality Control Board, Los Angeles Region. (receive

b) Galaxy Little League requested a parade permit for opening day
parade on April 17, 1982. (approve subject to standard condi-
tions)
c) West Covina Lion's Club requested a parade permit for a 5 and
IOK Run to be held on May 16, 1982. (approve subject to stan-
dard conditions)
d) The Board of Directors of the West Covina Chamber of Commerce
recommends that the City of West Covina contract with the Boys
Club of San Gabriel Valley for purposes of graffiti removal,
prevention and aftercare. (refer to staff)

1) INCREASE IN THE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 4 CONTRACT
Location: South of Ridgeline, east of Lark Ellen, West of
Nogales.
Review staff report. Recommendation is to grant J & R Landscape
Maintenance a 10.3% increase in their Maintenance District No. 4
contract, effective April 25, 1982, and authorize the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute said contract.
