V. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
A. Binao Update
Bommarito. noted that the Support Group was given a
presentation by a bingo advisor and supplier that
was very well received. Volunteers will be signing
commitment letters to determine- how many are
seriously interested in volunteering their time.
The enthusiasm level is. -very strong and the
Support. Group should have a recommendation for
Commission review early next year.
B, Newsletter Costs
Bommaritio-indicated the cost of the 1°VOICE" that
had that had been stated at the last meeting was
correct. The issues concerning how best: to
communicate with our senior population and how to
be more cost effective and minimize duplication of
effort entails more than the "VOICE" newsletter
cost. Staff suggested that this issue be reviewed
by the Senior Center Advisory and Support Group
since it affects many organiz.ations that meet at
the Center. Questions. concerning interchange of-
-information between senior organizations to reduce.
expenses and maximize readers will also be
addressed.
