IV. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS A. Agenda Items - None B. Non -Agenda Items — None V. APPROVAL OF SUMMARY OF ACTIONS Special Meeting of August 24, 2005 and Regular Meeting of October 12, 2005 A. Special Meeting of August 24, 2005 Motion by Fisher, seconded by Velasquez, to approve the Summary of Actions of August 24, 2005. Motion carried 5-0. B. Regular Meeting of October 12, 2005 Motion by Fisher, seconded by Nance, to approve the Summary of Actions of October 12, 2005. Motion carried 5-0. VI. ACTION ITEMS TO CITY MANAGER/CITY COUNCIL A. Request for Recognition — West Covina Public Safety Dispatchers' Association Motion by Higuchi, seconded by Fisher, to approve the Petition for Recognition from the San Bernardino Public Employees Association (SBPEA) as meeting the intent of Municipal Code Sections 2-213 and 2-215. INFORMATIONAL - Monthly Reports The Commissioners received and filed the following reports for the month of October 2005: Employment/Separation Report Employee Turnover Report Human Resources Recruitments Eligibility List: Clerk Typist VIII. STAFF REPORTS/DISCUSSION - None IX. COMMISSION'S COMMENTS Commissioners Higuchi and Velasquez stated that they have enjoyed working with City staff and the Commission. Commissioner Redholtz and Fisher stated that the Commission has worked well together. X. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Higuchi, and seconded by Velasquez, to adjourn the meeting at 6:55 P.M.
