NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
City Initiated
Location: A City initiated prezone for annexation purposes (Southerly
Annexation No. 231) of approximately 73 acres bounded generally
by Donna Beth Avenue on the east, Glenview Road and the City
of West Covina boundary on the west, Francisquito Avenue and
Rio do Oro on the north, and the City boundary westerly of Azusa
Avenue on the south.
Request: Proposed change of zone would be from R-1-10,000 to R71-Area
District II (9450 sq. ft.) south of Francisquito Avenue, west of Azusa,
and north of the City boundary and Doublegrove Street; from R-1-7500 to
R-1-Area District 1 (7500 sq. ft.) from the north side of Doublegrove to
the southerly City boundary; from C-H, C-2, P-R to Neighborhood Commercial
on the northwest corner of Azusa and Francisquito.
The Notice of Public Hearing re Zone Change No. 544 was published
in the West Covina Tribune on September 27, 1979, and mailed to 265
property owners on September 26, 1979.
