C-6g SUBJECT Destruction of Certain Documents as Prescribed by Law DATE 1 /21 /97 I I r SUMMARY This is the City Clerk's annual resolution containing City documents and materials that are no longer necessary for retention or have been microfilmed. In accordance with state law provisions, these materials may now be destroyed. Section 34090.5 of the Government Code specifies conditions in which public documents, papers, and materials may be destroyed. These conditions have been met through Ithe microfilm program and the materials are now ready for destruction. The list of documents proposed for destruction is attached as EXHIBIT A to the resolution recommended for adoption. The City Attorney will review the entire list of materials upon return from vacation and before it is executed by the Mayor. These are listed in the resolution # 1" about half -way down the first page.
