Ordinance - 1958ORDINANCE NO. 1958 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA AMENDING SECTIONS 22-174 AND 22-175 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO PARKING PROHIBITIONS, RESTRICTIONS AND PERMITS. WHEREAS, the City Traffic Committee on June 20, 1995 considered changes to the requirements for parking permits and the addition of areas near Palmview Park to the restricted day -time parking areas, and WHEREAS, the City Council on July 5, 1995 concurred in the recommendations of the Traffic Committee, now THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Sub -sections (b) (2) and (b) (3) of Section 22-174 of the West Covina Municipal Code are amended to read: (2) The application is limited to four (4) permits per dwelling unit or business. (3) Permits are free and shall be issued on a permanent basis with replacement upon loss or destruction permitted. SECTION 2. Sub -section (c) of Section 22-174 of the West Covina Municipal is amended by adding the following streets: Carlton Avenue from Carvol Avenue west to the cul-de-sac, both sides. Carvol Avenue from Swanee Lane north to Carlton Avenue, west side. Carvol Avenue from Carlton Avenue to 130 feet south, east side. Eckerman Avenue from Lark Ellen Avenue east to the cul-de-sac, both sides. SECTION 3. Sub -sections (b) (2), (b) (3), and (b) (4) of Section 22-175 of the West Covina Municipal Code are amended to read: (2) The application is limited to four (4) permits per dwelling, unit or business. (3) Permits are free. (4) Permits shall be issued on a permanent basis with replacement upon loss or destruction permitted. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of August 1995.
