ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE NVPaIBERED
SECTIO N11.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows
• Section l: Ordinance No. 31, entitled "An .Ordinance providing
for the creation in the City of Nest Covina, of zones consisting
of various districts and prescribing the classes of buildings,
structures and improvements in the said several zones, and the uses
thereof", is herebyamended by adding thereto ,a new section to be
'numbered. -Section 11, and to read as follows:
Section 11: The following described portion of the City of West
Covina,is hereby created as and declared to be in the B zone:
I"That portion of Lot 0.n6 Hundred Forty Four(144) of E.J.\
Baldwins 4th Subdivision, and described as follows":
Beginning at the intersection of center line of Arroyo Avenue
(State Highway) and Irwindale Avenue,,being station 23 + 0658
on sheet 4, section C. Route ,26, District V11 Division of High-
ways of the Stag -of California. Thence southerly on the pro-
longation of center line of Irwindale Avenue to intersection
with center line of Sunset Avenue; thence N. Ely along the
prolongation of center line oe said Sunset Ave.Uue'as shown in
book 8 P. 186 of maps,records of Los Angeles County to inter-
sectionwith center line of said Arroyo Avenue; thence Westerly
said center line to the point'of beginning. Except roads,on
Nly and Wl.y sides. See official records B. 12926 P. 12_for
vacation of a portion of Sunset Avenue and recorded July 13,
1934,
• and it shall be lawfulto erect and maintain thereon a gasoline
service` station to conform with the plans and specifications on file
• with the City Council of the City of -Viest Covina and to use and
operate therein such equipment as shall be necessary to carryon
said service station.

the City Clerk of the City of West Covina, and is a citizen of
the United States and over the age of twenty-one years: that on
the 14th day of May 1935, he posted three copies of ordinance
No 57 of the City of Viest Covina, entitled 'tan Ordinance amehdi•ng
Ordinance No. 3111 in three public places in said City, to -wit,
one at the door of the West Covina Club House, the same being the
place where the regular meetings of the City Council of the said
City are held, one on Sunset Avenue in front of the West Covina
SchoolHouse, and one at the northwest corner of Puente Street and
Lark Ellen Boulevard,
