Ordinance - 53W ORDINANCE NO.,53 kb AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR n1 NICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1933-1934, The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordainas f ollows : Section 1: That it is herebydeclared and determined that the sum of S 1 mill be required to pay the most and expense of maintaining the City of West Covina during the fiscal year 1933-19a4. Section 2: That in order to raise the aforesaid sum, there shall be and is hereby levied can each one hundred doll ars (100.04 of taxable property, exclusive of operative property,in-'the said - City of -West Covina a tax of $ .36 cents 46-Yo 1, Section 3: That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Zags Angeles be and it is hereby requested to levy a tax for the fiscal year of 1933-1934 upon all property in the City of West Covina,, at the rate hereinbefore set forth, for -the purp©'se Of p!.ying the cost and expense of maintaining the said.
