ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING

CITY COUNCIL WITH PERSONNEL COMMISSION
January 8, 1986
The adjourned regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor
Pro Tem Shearer at 6:30 PM at the Le Biarritz Restaurant in West Covina for a
joint dinner meeting with the Personnel Commission.
ROLL CALL Mayor Pro Tem Shearer, Councilmembers Chappell, Manners.
and Bacon
Absent: Mayor Tennant (excused)
Others Present: Fast, Thomas, Fry, Mooney
CALL TO ORDER OF THE PERSONNEL :COMMISSION:
Present: Chairman Haisman, Commissioners Dawson, Sisson, Watkins
Absent:
GENERAL DISCUSSION.:
None
Mayor Pro Tem Shearer announced that the purpose of the
meeting is to meet with the Commissioners and get to
know each other. Further, -that the City Council
appreciates the efforts of each commissioner whose ser-
vice plays a vital role in city government.
City Manager Fast announced that the filling of the
vacancy on the Personnel Commission would be on the
January 13th City Council Agenda.
The Director of Personnel,,and.staff, was complimented
on the efficiency and cooperation of the department.
In turn, the Personnel Director stated that the staff
appreciated the cooperation.offered by the commissioners.
PERSONNEL COMMISSION ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Watkins, seconded by Dawson, and unanimously
carried to adjourn the meeting at 8:28 PM.
CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Chappell, seconded by Bacon, and unanimously
carried to adjourn the meeting at.8:28 PM to Monday,
January 13, 1986, at 6:30 PM in the City Hall Council
Chambers.
