Betty Joyce Betty Joyce, 1509 Delhaven Street, commented on Council raises.
Oliver Riggins Oliver Riggins, 1239 Rowland Avenue, felt that if the County
Health Department doesn't take action to correct the emission
• problems at BKK, it is then incumbent on the Council to go
through whatever avenues are necessary to see that the Depart-
ment does take care of the problems.
Riggins also mentioned that citizens have an opportunity
to address items listed under the Consent Calendar which are
considered so rountine that they can all be approved by one
action. However, citizens do not have an opportunity to dis-
cuss the more important item.s on the Agenda until Council
has already taken action, as Oral Common cdt-ions:fdl-ls., at' the
end of the Agenda.
